Corporate Taxation
Swiss corporate tax law was recently modified to include major international standards defined by the OECD. International corporate tax standards have thus been introduced to a certain extent while retaining the general principle with regard to the application of cantonal rules for Swiss companies. Compared with other European countries, Switzerland has highly competitive taxation rates for companies.
With the majority of countries, Switzerland has concluded so-called Double Taxation Treaties (DTTs). The DTT system is a key aspect in the regulation of international activities of Swiss companies and activities of international firms in Switzerland.
